Here’s some suggestions about the FREE things you can do in Knowsley:

The routes have been developed in partnership with the Merseyside Guides to raise awareness of the forgotten past, and to discover something about what makes Knowsley a special place to live. Find out about the borough’s history at Prescot Museum.
Visit your local library, loan a book, get online or take part in a range of free activities.
Improve your fitness in one of our outdoor Green Gyms.

See if you can find all 26 items in Edward Lear’s Nonsense Alphabet trail at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park. Created by artist Gordon Young, this community project encouraged residents to share their own nonsense poems and help to shape the artworks that ae still on display today. You can’t miss it as outside of the entrance, you’ll find a fish on stilts!
Spot the interesting Shakespearean inspired creatures dotted all over Prescot. This trail of quirky creatures represents some of the animals mentioned in the witches’ chant from the well-known Shakespeare play Macbeth. They create a fun trail of animals across the town for people to find and enjoy.
