The Arncliffe Sports and Community Centre, Halewood

Arncliffe Sports and Community Centre boasts a large function room, licenced bar, grass football pitches and changing rooms. There’s also a large multi-use sports hall and 3G football pitches.

King George V Memorial Playing Fields, Prescot

King George V Memorial Playing Fields in Prescot (known locally as Brown’s Field) achieved the prestigious Green Flag Award in October 2021.

Browns Field is leased to Prescot Town Council and benefits from a playground for younger children, a natural play space for 8-13 year olds, two senior and one junior football pitches and free parking. It also hosts the annual Prescot Carnival, usually in June.

Browns Field has a formal Park Management Plan in place, providing a framework for future development of the park which puts the community needs at the heart of its development and management. Brown’s Field has benefited in recent years from external funding, enabling improvements to be made at the park.

King George V Playing Fields, Longview Drive, Huyton, L36 7UN

King George V Playing Fields in Huyton is a sports venue, with a range of facilities, including two 5 A-Side Astro cages, three Astro tennis courts, grass football pitches for playing and training on, and a sports hall which is perfect for keep fit, dance and martial arts and as a meeting venue for up to 100 people.

Eddie McArdle Playing Fields, Kirkby

Based on Simonswood Lane, the Eddie McArdle Playing Fields offer five adult grass pitches and are managed by AFC Kirkby.

AFC Knowsley (Community Interest Company)

AFC Knowsley is a not-for-profit, all-inclusive football club, providing opportunities for girls, boys, young people, men and women ranging between the ages of six to 18 years through to open-age to receive coaching and play competitive football.

AFC Knowsley’s home ground is situated on Knowsley Lane (Lord Derby’s Playing Fields) and includes four pitches, two mini-soccer pitches, training areas with changing facilities and free parking.
