The Council and its partners are looking to the future and how best to support Knowsley and its communities to thrive in the coming years.
We know that people need good local services and facilities – access to good local shops, leisure facilities, green spaces and more. But, after a difficult two years during the pandemic and a cost of living crisis happening right now, the Council and its partners also knows that residents may need some extra support and specific help – tailored to their individual needs. That’s where the Knowsley Offer comes in.
The Knowsley Offer is a package of support, services and facilities that the Council and its partners will deliver for its residents.
The Council has been out and about over the summer, as well as an online survey being available to complete, asking people what are the key issues affecting them and what they need to help to thrive.
A number of key themes have emerged from this consultation and the Council is now working with partners regarding the help and support that is available.
Overwhelming, the cost of living crisis is having an impact on residents with over 90% of respondents stating it was having a big impact on them or starting to have an impact on them. This is particularly the case for families with children. Whilst the Knowsley Offer is being developed, we have shared a range of help and support that can be accessed now, particularly around the cost of living crisis.
Keep a look-out on these pages for further updates as the Knowsley Offer develops.
